I've been drinking this every afternoon for two weeks and the orchid-like aroma still catches me off guard when I lift the lid. Knowing it's from Anxi makes sense once you taste it — that creamy, buttery finish is exactly what I look for in a Ti Quan Yin.
The leaves opened up beautifully on the second steep, all floral and buttery with that classic Anxi finish. I've been brewing it in a gaiwan each morning and getting four solid infusions out of one scoop.
Steeped this at 90°C for about two minutes and the leaves opened up beautifully, several infusions in and it's still going strong. Coming from Anxi, it has that classic buttery mouthfeel I was hoping for.
