I was skeptical about almond in tea, but it rounds out the cranberry's tartness beautifully, making this a rich, cozy afternoon cup. Even the dry leaves smell like a bakery.
The cranberry comes through bright and tart right at the start, then the almond rounds it out smooth on the finish. I’ve been brewing it every afternoon this week and it’s become the little ritual I look forward to.
I was a little worried the almond would overpower the cranberry, but they balance each other out really nicely with the black tea base. It brews up smooth without any bitterness, even when I let it steep a bit too long. Solid everyday cup.
