Il genmaicha è un tipo diverso di tè verde giapponese che molti trovano intrigante. I chicchi di riso integrale (genmai) vengono aggiunti mentre le foglie verdi Bancha (cha) vengono essiccate, così i chicchi diventano croccanti e alcuni si aprono.
