The Assam base really gives it that full body I look for in a breakfast tea, and the Hao Ya smooths out any bitterness. I've been drinking it every morning for two weeks and it hasn't gotten old yet.

The Hao Ya in this blend really softens the Assam's bite, so it's full-bodied without turning harsh or bitter. I've been steeping it about four minutes and it stays smooth right to the bottom of the mug.

This has become my go-to morning cup. The tippy Assam gives it that malty full body, and the Hao Ya smooths out any bitterness at the edges. Two minutes steeping and it's perfect with a splash of milk.
