ベリーベリー抹茶

I was worried the berry would taste artificial, but it comes through like actual fruit against the matcha instead. Steeping it a bit cooler keeps the green tea from turning bitter, and the color alone is worth it.

I was skeptical about mixing berries into matcha, but the tartness actually cuts through the earthy bitterness nicely. It whisks up frothy just like my plain matcha does, and I've been drinking it iced every afternoon this week.

The berry flavor is stronger than the matcha, which surprised me. It's fine if you want a fruity tea, but I was hoping the matcha would still come through more clearly.
