I grabbed a tin for a friend who's a longtime GMHC supporter, and the Bancha green tea base is genuinely smooth — not bitter even when I let it steep a little too long. The cause behind it makes every mug feel like a small good deed, and the 20 sachets are plenty for sharing or hoarding.
The individual sachets make it so easy to brew a quick cup at work, and knowing part of the purchase supports GMHC adds a nice feel-good layer to the daily ritual. The taste is light and grassy with a clean finish that I’ve started craving in the afternoon.
The Bancha green tea base is smooth and lightly savory, and each sachet brews a clean cup that doesn't turn bitter even if I forget it for a few minutes. I've already repurchased twice just for the taste alone, though the charity angle makes it even easier to enjoy.
