The black tea base is genuinely strong enough to hold up to a splash of milk, and the maple comes through warm rather than fake. Been having a cup every morning this week and it's become my default over plain English Breakfast.
The maple is subtle, not syrupy — it just rounds out the strong black tea base. I've been drinking it plain every morning this week and it's plenty bright on its own.
I was worried the maple would make this too sweet, but it's subtle and the black tea base stays strong and bright underneath. Two cups in and I've already ordered a second box.
