The Assam leaves give this blend a real malty backbone, but the Ceylon keeps it light enough for a second cup in the afternoon. I’ve been brewing it a bit stronger than usual and it holds up beautifully without turning bitter.
The silvery Ceylon leaves brew up so smooth and bright, but the Assam gives it a nice, malty backbone that makes it perfect for a morning cup. I've been drinking it black every day since the tin arrived, and it never gets bitter even when I steep it a little long.
