Took this on a five-hour drive and my tea was still hot when I got there — the vacuum insulation genuinely works. The basket infuser comes out easily for rinsing, which I appreciated since I didn't want loose leaves stuck at the bottom.
Took this on a three-hour drive and the tea was still hot when I got there, which honestly surprised me. The stainless steel walls really do hold temperature, and brewing loose leaf right in the mug beats hunting for a decent cup on the road.
The basket infuser pulls out cleanly and rinses in seconds, so I'm not fighting wet leaves in a hotel sink. Tea stayed hot through a three-hour train ride, and the stainless body hasn't picked up any dents bouncing around my bag.
