湖南島綠茶

The silver tips in this one are unreal — they give the cup such a sweet, soft finish that I ended up drinking three steeps back to back. Knowing it came from a small Yao island makes it feel a little special too.

Brewed this on a whim on a rainy afternoon and ended up finishing the whole pot. The silver tips give it such a soft, sweet finish, no bitterness at all even when I accidentally oversteeped it.

That boat trip to the Yao island was worth every minute—this tea has a gentle sweetness from the silver tips that lingers in a really pleasant way. I’ve already brewed it three times this week and it holds up beautifully each steep.
