I wasn't sure about mixing jasmine green with soba, but the floral note softens that toasty grain flavor in a way that just works. I've been cold-brewing it overnight and it's become my go-to for hot afternoons.
The roasted soba grain really comes through alongside the jasmine, giving it a nutty finish that plain green tea never has. Poured it over ice on a hot afternoon and it stayed smooth without turning bitter.
I cold-brewed this overnight and the jasmine really comes through without overpowering the green tea. It's my new go-to for hot afternoons, and the fact that it's organic is a nice bonus.
