Steeping this a little long brings out a sharp, brisk bite that cuts right through a heavy lunch. Knowing the peppermint leaves are actually grown in Washington State is a nice change from the usual blends.
I wasn't expecting much from a single-ingredient peppermint, but this one is genuinely brisk instead of flat and sweet. Knowing the leaves are grown in Washington State makes it feel a little more special too.
Steeping a big loose-leaf spoonful for five minutes gives me a bright, brisk cup that's sharper than the bagged stuff I used to keep around. Nice to find a peppermint that's just peppermint, grown here in Washington and nothing else added.
