烘焙蕎麥抹茶

Wasn't sure about soba in matcha but this won me over — it's silky-smooth with a soft sweetness that keeps the earthy flavor from going bitter. Light on the tongue too, so I've been drinking it plain all afternoon.

The roasted buckwheat gives this such a warm, toasty flavor, and the matcha keeps it silky instead of grassy. I've been whisking it plain with hot water in the afternoons and it's light enough that I don't feel wired afterward.

I was worried a matcha would taste too grassy for me, but this one is genuinely silky-smooth and light on the tongue. That hint of sweetness from the soba makes it a nice mellow cup in the afternoon.
