馬鞭草（檸檬馬鞭草）

The liquor is a gorgeous pale gold and the aroma fills the kitchen the moment the hot water hits the leaves. I was genuinely surprised by how much body it has—it drinks almost like a light green tea, not a wispy herbal at all. Four leaves give a full, satisfying cup that keeps its lemony brightness

I was skeptical about an herbal tea having much body, but this one genuinely surprised me—the brew turns a beautiful lemon yellow and has a real presence on the palate, not just hot water with a scent. Steeped four leaves for five minutes and it was perfectly aromatic without going bitter.

The leaves are impressively big and sturdy, and the brew really does turn that lovely lemon-yellow color. Body is surprisingly full for an herbal tea, though I wish the aroma lingered a bit more in the cup.
